Snacks
Healthy snacks are served to children at both sessions and consist of milk, a cracker, a small piece of cheese or other savoury and a small piece of fruit. Fresh drinking water is always available. We ask parents to make a small, voluntary contribution so that we can make snack time an enjoyable occasion where children learn to help themselves and to help others. Snack time is also a “tasting” time when pieces of new fruits or savouries can be introduced to the children for them to try.
It is our policy to respect
any dietary requirements for your child.
Birthdays
Most children celebrate their 4th birthday in the nursery, and really enjoy the occasion. We ask parents to bring in a small sponge cake which may be shared with other children; we provide the candles. Expensive cakes and sweets for other children are not required.
